Having a strained relationship to your mother can be incredibly lonely and confusing. The love and attachment we feel gets tangled up with pain, anger, grief and, because of the taboo around speaking of the mother wound, we feel alone in this struggle. I know because, as an embodied facilitator, I speak & teach from my own lived experience. Through my offerings, I create space for women to come together in our shared human experience, to be seen and held, and to heal by reconnecting to the mother within. Until a few years ago, I didn’t think of myself as a creative person. Somewhere along the way, I had abandoned that piece of me. A part of coming home to myself has been coming to rediscover my creativity. What I’ve discovered is that creativity, like life, becomes more joyful and beautiful when we can stop trying to control and simply open to the wonder.
A woman on my own embodied journey of coming home to myself through healing the mother wound. An embodied facilitator guiding women to rediscover their innate wholeness and reconnect to the inner mother.
