In 2017, I didn't like my 9 to 5, but I loved baking.
In need of an escape, I set off to hitchhike 20 European countries, on a quest for traditional cake recipes.
What started as a personal pursuit for desserts became a colorful journey of people, places and deeper life lessons. A reminder that travel and food are universal languages that bring us together. Think Eat Pray Love meets The Alchemist.

Allowing myself to claim and unfold my creative identity. Before the course, the label "creative" meant disciplined execution and big achievements (to me, it was borderline self-indulgent). “A writer writes everyday. They have published books and articles. I don’t do that, so I am not a writer.” Declining myself a creative identity was my excuse to shy away from the words and ideas that fill my heart. The Creative Alchemy nudged me into a more gentle approach. It gave me invitations to play and reminded me not to take the critical voices so seriously. I was reminded to follow curiosity and flow, discovering a smoother path to connect with my creativity.
Hi, I’m Sophia! I’m a child of many cultures 🇫🇷🇲🇦🇺🇸. I follow my curiosity into questions and conversations that unveil people’s stories. Writing is my tool to seek self-awareness, which I believe makes stories relatable and bridges our shared human experience.
